This is my favourite recipe for a weekend breakfast. With just eggs and bananas they must be the healthiest and easiest pancakes to make. The toppings can change according to what you have available. We use ricotta and fresh fruit like figs, berries or apple, or pre-cooked apple and rhubarb. We only recently ventured out and added complex berry to the topping with great surprise. If you have any left over, keep them in the fridge as kids love them cold. Just remember that the riper your bananas are the better as the pancakes will be sweeter and have a better texture. Kids that eat normal sugary pancakes will ask for seconds so make plenty of extras.
(Inspired by Natasha Campbell-Mcbride and her GAPS Diet recipes- see www.gapsdiet.com).

Prep. time 5 mins

You will need (for 4)

For the pancakes

4 large organic eggs

5/6 organic bananas

For the topping

organic ricotta

fresh fruit of your choice (optional)

organic raw honey

{allyouneedislove} complex berry superfood powder to taste

Directions

01 Mash the bananas and place in a mixing bowl with the eggs and beat together.

02 have a look at the consistency and if it is too runny, add more banana. You want to do this to give the mixture more bulk.

03 Place in your pancake maker (with some butter for non-sticking) or in a pan as you would for normal pancakes.

04 Serve with your toppings and sprinkle {allyouneedislove} complex berry after the honey so that they work together. This combination will resemble a chocolate sauce.

05 So delicious! Enjoy!

We are excited to announce the winner of our August give-away. This month, we have been really touched by the words of a supporter who has showered us with praise since finding us at the Fitness and Health Expo in Sydney earlier this year.

Here is a sample of what she has said to us “Hey guys, bought some of your products at the fitness expo in Sydney and absolutly love them”…”this is a wonderful Aussie product I am proud to promote it for you, so far I have recruited 6 people. Selling it at GNC Tuggerah will make it easier for me… thank you for this great product”. ….”I speak only from the heart and if I find something I love that nurtures my body I will move heaven and earth to push it to the people I love. I want these people around me when I grow old and I’m still living well into my hundreds and feeling fit. It gets me through my heavy fitness training sessions and keeps me feeling well. I drink it straight after I run every Sunday as my recovery drink with my running group. Thanks again.”….”thanks for spreading the love up here, your product rules and my family are better for it.”

So our lucky fan of the month is Jenny Anthonisz-Bettison! Whoohoo!!! For connecting with us and sharing her kind thoughts, Jenny has won a 500gm box of Complex Berry. Congratulations! We hope you enjoy this prize and find wonderful ways with this versatile powder.

To our other valued customers, don’t forget to send us your thoughts and photos as you may win next month. Hearing from our fans simply makes our day! Good luck with September Fan of the Month!

I love to find things that are really easy to recycle and look amazing. I found this inspiring panelling idea that really could be used anywhere. This looks gorgeous as it is, but if you don’t need storage, the pallets can be used just as a wall or ceiling texture and would be great for sound proofing noisy cafes or even work spaces. Endless possibilities!

Prep. time 2 mins

You will need (for 1)

2 tsp {allyouneedislove} complex berry superfood powder

2 heaped tsp {allyouneedislove} acai berry superfood powder

4 heaped tbspns of black chia seeds (measured after pre-soaking overnight)

sliced red apple

Directions

01 Pre-soak the chia seeds. (Very easy). Just add the chia seeds into a large bowl and cover well with water. Cover the bowl and place in the fridge overnight. The seeds will swell into a gel (this helps with the digestion of the seeds).

02 Mix the {allyouneedislove} complex berry powder and the acai berry powder to the chia seeds. Do a taste test as it can be adjusted for flavour. (It looks the best as a dark colour from the acai berry).

03 Serve with thin pieces of sliced fruit in a glass.

I was at my desk today and felt like a quick late lunch and superfood at the same time. So I thought- what if I mixed triple green superfood powder into my lunch. This recipe is the result of my flash of inspiration! It’s not a combination you would think about but it works as a snack or it could easily be served as a side salad to meat or fish for dinner (shh…just don’t tell your family or friends that there is spirulina, chlorella and barley Grass in there). This is so incredibly easy as you just throw it together and mix.

Prep. time 2 mins

You will need (for 1)

1 heaped tsp {allyouneedislove} triple green superfood powder to taste

4/5 big spoonfuls of organic quinoa (pre-soaked and cooked, cold & ready to go)

1/2 organic avocado

1 sprig of organic alfalfa sprouts

1 sprinkle of organic pepitas (pumpkin seeds) or sunflower seeds

1 tbspn of organic flaxseed oil

Himalayan Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

01 Pre-soak and cook the quinoa. (This is easier than it sounds). Just add the quinoa into a large bowl and cover well with water. Cover the bowl and place in the fridge overnight. Rinse well. Add to a saucepan and cook as you would porridge, in water for a few minutes. You can use it straight away or cool it for a little later.

02 add the {allyouneedislove} triple green powder to the quinoa slowly. Don’t over do it!

03 Pour a dash of the flaxseed oil (great for flavour) and salt and pepper. Best to taste test now.

04 Add the sliced avocado, sprouts and pepitas and mix well.

05 Serve in an individual bowl or as a side dish.

I like to prepare this apple + rhubarb crumble ahead of time so that it is ready for breakfast the next day or left in the fridge for the kids as an afternoon snack. The topping here is a muesli that has been toasted with a drizzle of honey after it has been placed on top of the fruit. The crumble mixture can become more traditional and complicated if you have a little more time. To do this you can mix soft butter with a flour of your choice and work this until you have a biscuit consistency. Add some Xylitol (instead of sugar), and add muesli to give it texture. Toast the crumble in the oven on a grill setting (but watch it so it doesn’t burn!).

Prep. time 2 mins

You will need (for 4)

2 heaped tsp complex berry superfood powder per person

1 heaped tsp açai berry superfood powder per person

Organic muesli (of your choice)

6 organic red apples

3 pieces of organic rhubarb

Directions

01 Dice peeled apples and rhubarb.

02 Add to boiling water (just covering) and cook for 15 mins.

03 Drain excess water and mash together. Scrape mixture into a flat oven dish.

04 Add the muesli mixture and drizzle some honey over. Add to the oven, with a grill setting to toast the top of the crumble.

05 Serve with a sprinkling of complex berry and açai berry powder and yoghurt (optional)
