Passion Projects {allyouneedislove} was established under the creative direction of Lynette and Alejandro de la Vega as a consequence of a real journey. Initially they were faced with their seven year old son's diagnosis of severe Dyslexia. Having already been exposed to Biochemist Henry Osiecki's work in the area of nutrition, they set about helping their son. They started with vitamins to get his focus and concentration fired up to facilitate his learning. What Lynette & Alejandro witnessed was a life changing experience.

They applied their design thinking to the problem of delivering vitamins on the go for their son. They had designed the concept of separate vitamins and water 23 years earlier as they thought "there must be a better way to take vitamins than by swallowing a handful of pills" and, "wouldn't it be great to be able to grab pre-dosed vitamins and just run out the door". The concept of carrying separate vitamins inside a bottle of water was born. As there was no real urgency, they intermittently worked on dozens of bottle designs. By 2005 however, their world changed. "Our desire to focus on a solution to help our son began to consume us".

After growing up with Henry Osiecki's books in the household, and after Henry successfully supported the health challenges of Lynette's parents, she immediately dived into his protocol on learning and brain health.

What we witnessed was a significant difference in our son's ability to concentrate and get on with his learning".

This was exciting; however they felt they needed to go a step further. He would drink the vitamins in the morning, but what he really needed was to be able to take freshly mixed vitamins at school to get through the afternoon. But they were not with him at school and the taste of the vitamins required a little persuasion.

The additional supplementation helped to build a foundation for change for the de la Vega's son, so they wondered -

if we could deliver a truly healthy drink for our son and other children like him, could we help change the world just a little – for both adults and kids?

Their son's challenge inspired them on a new journey.

To create the total solution they were looking for, the de la Vegas needed to team up with the best in the business - that was Henry Osiecki. The brain formula was the hero, but they all knew that there were many other formulas that they personally needed. Together they aimed high – "to create the best drinks in the world".

At Passion Projects {allyouneedislove} we have set out to challenge the status quo one love drink at a time. We are a small company with big plans – we want you to know we are passionate about changing the way you drink forever. That is our challenge.

We are concerned that there are so few drink alternatives that are good for you or the planet. Why is this? Because to get a drink in a bottle, so much has to be tampered with - leaving an unhealthy concoction of preservatives, pasteurization, sugar, or fake low-calorie sugars; and just for the look of it, stabilizers & emulsifiers are added in order to blend & uniformly suspend the bright colours for the 'look and taste'.

Again – why? basically, because these drinks (with their unknown ingredients) have always been pre-mixed and need a shelf life. They need to have mass visual appeal - all at the expense of your health. The biggest why is why do we (collectively) accept bad drinks?

We thought: what if we kept the ingredients out of the water until we were ready? That way there was no risk of bacteria growing in the drink and no need to add all of those bad ingredients.

Also, we thought: why can't we deliver real ingredients that offer only health benefits? And taste good at the same time? It's possible.

For a great taste we add natural sweetener Xylitol instead of damaging sugar. Also, the colour and flavours are derived from natural dried fruit and vegetables. The ingredients are unstable once they hit the water. This is why we keep them fresh and you release them when you are ready.

We want to encourage you to use the bottle over and over as many times as possible so we pushed our delivery mechanism to achieve this.

Then we thought – we can’t just use PET bottles, as we were worried about the impact on the environment, and on your body with BPA chemical leaching. That is why we have made our bottles in Polypropylene with a biodegradable additive to make them sturdy to re-use; they are recyclable; and if they end up in landfill, they will disappear after a number of short years.

We have aimed to offer only the best that technology can offer us today. This has been our Passion Project from the beginning, so no matter what, we have not compromised. As we are in the business of innovation, we will continue to evolve with new and creative solutions.

There is no better concept in the world. So we decided to infuse Love messages in every bottle to remind us all that at the end of the day – all you need is love.

In addition to the good vibrations we feel from our love branding, we have been inspired by the work of the Japanese researcher Dr. Masaru Emoto and his unique water crystal photography.

His photos reveal that the use of positive words including ‘love’ placed on the water creates some of the most beautifully formed crystals ever seen. His attention has been focused on the optimistic potential of changing the water that surrounds us and by so doing change ourselves. Just imagine if everyone could drink water with love. Could this change us all? Could it change the world? It‘s possible!

Whether or not you believe in Dr. Emoto, he nonetheless contributes to world peace and the promotion of love. Perhaps we could extend this wonderful concept with our drinks? If nothing else it will be a positive reminder.

In case you were wondering why the monkey, well, the cheeky monkey is our son. That is what his nickname was as a young boy. The monkey is practicing a Kundalini Yoga pose as I was being taught by the great Yoga teacher, Sat Siri (Rachel Dougherty) at the time that I designed our logo. This was the same time that I was trying to find our greater purpose in life. Passion Projects and {allyouneedislove} were born out of these influences. We believe that no matter what is happening in your life, all you need is love… for you and your body, for your family and for the planet. We believe that we should all be spreading this concept wherever we go.
